Seven Killings七殺
The element that controls you, same polarity. Tradition links it with pressure, courage and hard challenges.
- For a 甲 day
- 庚
- Also called
- 偏官、官鬼

Meeting 庚: this is Indirect Officer, the Seven Killings, also Spirit Officer and General Star.

身旺有氣為偏官，身弱無制為七殺。
With a strong self it is called Indirect Officer. With a weak self and no restraint it is the Seven Killings.

In plain words
The element that controls you, same polarity. The same stem has two names, and which one applies depends on you. If the Day Master is strong, it is a useful force. If weak and unchecked, it is a danger.
The book compares it to sleeping beside a tiger, and also says many rich and high people carry it. What matters is control: enough restraint, but not too much.
What it is
With 甲 (Jia) as the day stem, this is 庚.
Named against your own day stem.
