Your birth details

Dates, times, questions and charts are worked out in your browser. They are not sent to us. There are no accounts.

What your browser stores

Two things, both on your device only: the home page view you chose (taodial-view), and any charts you choose to save (taodial-charts, which holds the birth date, time and place). They are not sent to us. You can delete them on the page or clear them in your browser. Do not save charts on a shared computer. We set no tracking cookies.

What our hosting sees

The site is served through Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare handles technical data such as your IP address and browser type in order to deliver pages and protect the site. Fonts come from this site, not from a font service.

Analytics and ads

We run no advertising. We use Umami to count page views and how often each tool is used, so we can see what readers find useful. It sets no cookies. Each visit sends the page address without anything after a ? or #, the page you came from, and your browser, device and language. Using a tool also sends the tool’s name and whether the page is in English or Chinese. Your birth details, questions, saved charts and searches are never sent.

Umami handles your IP address briefly to work out a rough location and to count visitors. Its analytics records do not store the IP address, but Umami and its providers may keep IP addresses in operational and security logs. Our statistics are stored in Umami’s United States region, so they may be held outside your country. If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, we do not count your visit.
