Understanding Eight Mansions
The Eight Mansions school gives every house a trigram from the direction it sits on. That trigram sets four good and four bad sectors in the house. The school then compares the house with the owner’s Kua.
How it works
- Find the sitting directionStand inside and look out of the front. The direction behind you is the sitting direction.
- Find the trigramEach of the eight directions has one trigram.
- Compare the trigramsThe lines that differ between the house trigram and each direction set that direction’s star.
- Compare with the personEast houses go with the East group of people, and West houses with the West group.
