右弼

以上自紫微至輔弼一十八星，俱南北斗正曜。

From Zi Wei to Zuo Fu and You Bi, these eighteen stars are all principal stars of the two Dippers.

Zi Wei Dou Shu Quan Shu, vol. 2

右弼帝極主宰之星，守身命文墨精通。

You Bi is a ruling star of the imperial pole. In the Life palace it gives skill with writing.

Zi Wei Dou Shu Quan Shu, vol. 1

In plain words

You Bi is the right hand, and its mark is skill with the brush. Beside Zi Wei and Tian Fu the book reads both money and office, both letters and arms. Like Zuo Fu, it needs a ruler to serve.

Sources Zi Wei Dou Shu Quan Shu, vols. 1 and 2, from an online transcription, not yet checked against a printed edition. The plain text is ours, and it leaves out the book’s harshest lines about death and about women.
