What it is
The eyes and ears of heaven, in charge of prisons. These are the Pleiades.
In the almanac
The almanac gives each day one mansion in a fixed cycle. Xie Ji Bian Fang Shu traces the day-by-day count to an old Western Regions text on the seven planets. The Building row is from the Yu Xia Ji, which rates each mansion for building work.
